Robert W. Bruml
President

Mr. Bruml has been in investment banking and private equity since 1980. Since its formation in 1986, Bruml Capital Corporation has specialized in offering investment banking and financial advisory services to substantial, privately-held companies involved in a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, specialty chemicals, and capital goods. Prior to forming BCC in 1986, Mr. Bruml was a Senior Vice President at a regional investment banking firm, and was associated with KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Bruml has served as a director of several closely-held companies and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Cleveland Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. He is a member of the Trustees Alumni Council of the University of Rochester and a member of the Board of Trustees of Hawken School where he is Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Bruml holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School.
Andrew S. Gelfand

Mr. Gelfand has been in the investment banking business for more than 20 years. He has been affiliated with Bruml Capital Corporation since 1989 and a principal since 1991. He has managed or co-managed numerous buy-side, sell-side, and corporate finance engagements and arranged capital for a wide variety of companies including basic manufacturing, metals, wholesale distribution, food processing and marketing, and service businesses. Mr. Gelfand is also the manager of BCC's valuation services group. Since joining BCC, Mr. Gelfand has written numerous valuation opinions. Such valuation opinions have been used in connection with corporate finance (acquisitions, divestitures, capital financing, executive incentive plans, stock redemptions), fairness opinions, domestic relations, tax-oriented issues, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, estate plans (including gifts and GRAT's) and estates. Various corporate and regulatory agencies have reviewed and accepted the conclusions of his reports. He has also provided expert witness testimony. Mr. Gelfand earned a B.A. in mathematics from Colgate University and an M.B.A. in finance from The Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
Eric W. Starr

Mr. Starr assists with the firm's valuation practice, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions. Prior to joining Bruml Capital Corporation in 2003, Mr. Starr was an Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Banking Division of National City Bank, Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Starr has experience in working with a variety of privately-held, middle-market companies. Mr. Starr holds a B.A. in Economics and Business from Lafayette College and an M.B.A. from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
Erik R. Garlitz

Mr. Garlitz assists with the firm’s business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions. Prior to joining Bruml Capital Corporation in 2006, Mr. Garlitz was the Head Equity Trader and an Equity Analyst for Shaker Investments LLC, an investment and hedge fund manager in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Garlitz has experience trading and researching small and mid-cap companies whose attributes favor exceptional, long-term investment performance. Mr. Garlitz has appeared in or been interviewed for Bloomberg Markets magazine, Traders Magazine, and Wall Street Journal Radio. Mr. Garlitz earned a B.A. in Finance from Bowling Green State University and is an M.B.A. candidate at Baldwin-Wallace College.
Donna J. Maxim

Mrs. Maxim is responsible for managing all administrative, accounting and finance activities of the day-to-day operations of the firm and also serves as a research assistant. Prior to joining Bruml Capital in 1994, she was employed with Forest City Enterprises as office manager of the Tower City Center leasing office. Mrs. Maxim earned an Associate's Degree in Business Management from Lakeland Community College and also was the recipient of The Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award at graduation.
